Becca and Alex's engagement session on the course

I love when photography sessions reflect my client's personalities and the easiest way to do that is to do the session in a place they love! When Becca and Alex came to me with the idea of doing their engagement session on the golf course Alex loves and where they will be tying the knot next year, I knew we would get some amazing photos! Choosing a location where you feel comfortable and at ease is SO important to getting photos where you look comfortable and at ease!

Another way I love to incorporate my client's personalities is to have them create a Pinterest board of their dream engagement session so we can work together to capture their love. Not only does this make our session a collaboration, but my clients always find new and unique poses which are so fun to try! I hear from many of my clients that they're most worried about posing and looking awkward and I always tell them not to worry (easier said than done, I know) but posing and prompting my clients is part of my job, and I think I'm pretty good at it ;) I can't wait to work with Becca and Alex again at their wedding in 2023!
